After his visit to the Heights, Lockwood becomes ill and is confined to his bed for some length of time. Catherine stayed at the Grange for five weeks, and came home dressed and acting like a proper young lady, to the delight of Hindley and his wife, and to Heathcliff's sorrow——he felt as though she had moved beyond him.

Catherine fell ill after looking for Heathcliff all night in a storm, and went to the Grange to get better. What are your thoughts on this? While he is gone, Catherine continues to court and ends up marrying Edgar. He narrates the book until Chapter 4, when the main narrator, Nelly, picks up the tale.

The movie only can offer a short time of entertainment. In Wuthering Heights, stories are often told within stories, with much of the information being revealed second-handed.

They are a fun escape for a few hours, especially while listening to the soundtrack in tandem to the script. With one month left in the year and books in my pile that I want to get through before the calendar changes, I do not think I will have a chance to read more plays this year.

As the night winds down, Sonny approaches Graffiti Pete with a secret proposition, which Pete accepts. During his convalescence, he and Cathy overcome their mutual antipathy and become close.

Both the book and movie convey the character in depth emotional makeup. He found there a little boy who looked like a gypsy who had apparently been abandoned on the streets, and brought the child home with him, to join his own family of his wife, his son Hindley, his daughter Catherine, a manservant named Josephand Ellen, who was very young at the time and working as a maid.

Heathcliff vows revenge and does not care who he hurts while executing it. Earnshaw dies, and Hindley inherits Wuthering Heights. If men can stop and shoot the breeze at la bodega, women stop in for a haircut and to gossip at la salon run by Daniela, Carla, and Vanessa. Heathcliff stayed at Wuthering Heights, where he gradually gained financial control by paying Hindley's gambling debts.

The fictional version of Washington Heights is made up of a vibrant cast of characters. This is around the time of Lockwood's time at the Grange. The following year, Frances Earnshaw gives birth to a son, named Haretonbut she dies of consumption a few months later.
